GLOBAL PROTESTS, 3D EXISTENCE & EXPERIENCE - (‘DELUSION,’ ‘DISAPPOINTMENT,’ ‘DISAFFECTION’)11/24/2019 iGURU!’s – Weekly Review – 24th November 2019 PART ONE THE ‘COSMOS IS ALIVE’ – BE NOT DELUDED The Cosmos - may well be a ‘multi-verse’ or ‘omniverse’ and although we are ‘trans-dimensional’ beings, our dominant experience, if we are not careful can be the limited to a 3 dimensional experience only – namely one of five senses – the world of ‘Matter’ - the world of Length, Breadth and Height. But current scientific thinking - in particular, the still not properly understood world of quantum mechanics, indicates that whilst space has/is ‘potential,’ ‘matter’ itself is largely illusory. My own take on all of this, is that, as ‘trans-dimensional beings,’ the Human Body - is a ‘trans-dimensional technology’ – nothing less than a ‘Reality Creating Mechanism’/‘Technology’ – Biological and organic, with some ‘synthetic aspects’ – regarding these, ‘synthetic aspects,’ the ‘Mind’ comes to mind. That understanding alone is powerful enough, to bring home, the truly wonderful nature of our bodies and what it means to be human. It is with this belief and understanding of ‘Cosmic reality’ – that I shall use to look at and analyse and consider the ongoing and unfolding of the current global, social, economic and political crisis. 3D EXISTENCE – ‘DELUSION’ ‘Delusion’- is a real danger - perhaps the greatest danger in a ‘trans-dimensional’ eco-system. What is ‘real?’ - What is ‘fake?’ - What ‘exists?’ - What doesn’t? - What is ‘true?’ - And what is false? No wonder then, that in many spiritual traditions - the ‘Deceiver,’ (for related info - click here) is the epitome of evil. THE GLOBAL PROTESTS I read an interesting article analysing the continuing political and social unrest, which is currently sweeping the planet. In the article titled – ‘What’s behind Our World On Fire,’ it details the protests, their diverse causes and global extent, through a process of analysis, the author highlights the rage, violence, division and ultimately, the destructive nature of the events, which are currently occurring across the globe. Finally, the article ends with the gloomy observation, on the inability of ruling elites to adequately deal with the crisis, stating that, “Neither authoritarians nor the world’s democracies seem to have found a cure for the maladies that afflict our world’s unhappy citizens.” This statement though stark, rings true - and it is becoming increasingly apparent that current social and political ideas, current thinking and action, is not working. Part of the reason for this, is because the causes, are ‘structural’ - and deeply rooted. Another is the failure to understand that the crisis cannot be considered in ‘material’ terms alone and that only a ‘trans-dimensional’/spiritual consideration of the ‘psychological processes,’ along with an understanding of the geo political structures – will provide the ’language tools’ – necessary to analyse, consider, discuss, suggest - and then ultimately, implement solutions. In these matters, it seems most of our politicians, so called leaders in ruling elite circles are either unaware or willfully ignorant. A true statesman or woman, would be expected to embody this understanding, however it seems global politics appears woefully short of such leadership (for related article - click here.) Our home - this Planet, is a ‘Great House’ - a ‘Great House’ - built on ‘Ideas’ - Ideas, whose foundations have moved. Serious cracks in the walls of the ‘Great House’ have now appeared and the inhabitants (the people) fearing for their safety are deciding whether to abandon it all together. But, it is not just protesters who sense something is gravely wrong with the ‘Great House’ - the global systems - which have hitherto dominated this world, but also many academics and commentators, who see in this current global crisis - a ‘crisis for Western Civilisation,’ itself. Indisputably, the ‘modern mindset' is - and has been dominated by European/Western Civilisation, and its accompanying ideas - and there is - and has been for many generations now, writers who have warned of its impending collapse. Oswald Spengler wrote in 1918, ‘The Decline of the West.’ His thesis was that cultures are born, grow bear fruit and then die. In Spengler’s view, World War 1 marked the early stages of ‘degeneration.’ Interestingly, he predicted, both ‘financialisation’ and the rise of ‘Caesarism’ in Western Europe. I also watched a series of lectures on YouTube, given by Professor Carroll Quigley, on ‘Caroll Quigley On Western Civilization,’ (please see Index at the end of this Review for video links) and a video titled ‘Carroll Quigley - The Evolution of Civilizations Ch. 01-04.’ Quigley, lectured and taught for over 40 years and was a Professor at George Town University. He was a leading academic of his time and considered in great depth the rise and fall of civilizations. One dominant theme in these lectures, is the changing nature of ruling power in Europe, which is now embodied in the relatively modern concept of the ‘State.’ Interestingly, he chronicles, the development of European society, how the economic, social, political and juridical relations changed over a period of about 1000 years. Not unexpectedly, this time span sees the slow evolving, but quite dramatic changes over time, in the nature and structures of European society and civilization. This change is marked by one dominant theme - and that is, how original ‘community’/‘communal’ based systems of European life, with its accompanying social, economic, political and juridical systems, have been replaced by the authoritarian and totalitarian state style state systems, we see in Europe and which he bemoaned at the time. Professor Caroll Quigley, is not the only respected academic who has made this or similar assessments. These subjects, namely - the rise evolution (rise and fall,) of Empires and Civilisations, the role of European Civilsation in world history and its decline, the nature of the political and juridical structures which govern the relations between, a ruler and its people and even the very nature of the State itself, are huge geopolitical subjects and any assessment, can be easily and therefore are, more often than not, likely to become politicised for ideological purposes. However, the interesting thing, about Caroll Quigley’s writings, is that, Quigley not only avowed and acknowledged global ‘secret’ and ‘semi- secret,’ white and male, ‘ruling elite’ circles and societies – but he was a highly respected ‘establishment’ scholar/writer, (a mentor to President Clinton,) who personally supervised and taught scores of ‘elite children’ and he was facilitated access to their circles, its academic sources and materials. Further, he sought through his enquires and studies, a way to hopefully preserve and extend the power and time-span of ‘Western Civilisation.’ He was an ‘insider’ and not an enemy of the system. I watched an interesting video - titled ‘Bernard-Henri Lévy vs. Aleksandr Dugin – Nexus Symposium 21 September 2019, Amsterdam’ - in this video one of the speakers, who is a philosopher - Aleksandr Dugin mentions, that there is currently a decline in 'western power' - Dugin emphasises a type of malaise in modern structures - which he says is in alignment with 'nihilism,' 'fascism,' 'communism' and 'Nazism.' THE USA TODAY The global crisis is global, simply because of the earlier ‘success’ of the European Empire and Civilisation. Its most recent prominent practical expression and leader is America, who in its continuation of an expansion of ‘European Values’ – embarked upon a perilous course to become not just a ‘global empire’ – but the ‘Sole Hegemon.’ The only ‘Player.’ These strategies, may have been privately conceived, as being a logical extension and use of ‘European Civilisation’s power,’ but they were not secret. The American ‘neo-cons’ statement of American ambition and purpose, (for details - click here) was openly stated in the document ‘Project For the New American Century.’ This project called for the domination and sole hegemony of the US in global affairs. It therefore listed, a series of wars against specific named countries in pursuit of this strategy of US sole hegemony. Countless commentators of global affairs have referenced it as being the ‘blue print,’ for American action on the global stage - e.g. Michel Chossudovsky (‘War & Globalization, America’s Roadmap of Conquest, Blueprint for Global Domination.’) As an aside, I would further add by way of example this. That, whatever view one takes about President Donald Trump in general and his impeachment woes in particular (for further details - click here), he continues this ‘tradition,’ in its broadest sense - in that, the global wars continue, although the understanding behind them, has now been largely lost or obscured to the public. - Hence, the desired ‘theft’ of Syria’s oil by him (for more info - click here), is in keeping with an earlier ‘neo-con’ – progenitor of ideas and beliefs. In all this, Trump is not the enemy of a ‘Western Globalist tradition/faction’ as his supporters like to portray him – but he is simply a ‘wayward son’ - a ‘black sheep.’ This is the unpalatable truth for those Americans, many often styled ‘liberals’ as a term of abuse – who are weary of war and bloodshed in their name, horrified by a future generation’s legacy in wealth and prosperity, frittered away and squandered for largely private oligarchic US interests. This is the unpalatable truth – ‘an inconvenient truth,’ – that, your State (US) is now on the verge of becoming a state, which is beyond change/reform. – If nothing is done to reverse and check this behaviour - if this state is reached - the changes you wish to see, will require that your State must ‘fail’ – ‘fall’ – ‘unravel’ – in a manner similar to the collapse of the former Soviet Empire. In this, the Trump Impeachment Inquiry may just be the opening act. Your perceived enemies, you were told to fear, were nothing more than chimeras – which you believed and in doing so, you failed to heed the wise words of your Founding Fathers - (for ‘Founding Fathers Quotes’ - click here.) – There are many admirable ones, which have truly reflected the sentiments of ‘Liberty,’ ‘Freedom’ ‘Fairness’ and ’Justice’ - in this heritage of ‘Wisdom’ - Americans are spoiled – but these two quotes below, I believe expresses the burden and duty of responsibility currently on the shoulders of the people of America – “You will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve YOUR freedom. I hope you will make good use of it.’ - John Adams "At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, If it ever reach us it must spring up amongst us; it cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen we must live through all time, or die by suicide." - Abraham Lincoln For Americans to fail, would be disastrous - if this occurs the American Empires shall end in the way most previous empires ended - namely, by ‘collapse’ – with the collapse occurring ultimately - from within. iGURU!’s – Weekly Review – 17th November 2019 INTRODUCTION The Global civil unrest and protests continues. In last weeks Review – we explored the people protests, that have swept the globe, you can read that article here. In an article – ‘Do today's global protests have anything in common?’ – the writer provides further details about the nature of this unrest, as it is expressed through the protests - in countries and political systems as diverse as Equador, Bolivia, Spain, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Iraq, Chile and so on. Read this article here. We are still in the beginning stages of this global turmoil – people are generally protesting about issues, which have accumulated over time and which may then have been triggered by a single event. The essence of the people’s complaints however, reveal a common source – a protest against perceived, systematised and structural social injustice, poverty, loss of rights and freedoms, obscene inequality... People it seems, have moved from a sense of growing ‘awareness’ about how the planet is mismanaged, to a powerful and often traumatic ‘realisation’ – of the reality, that the ‘Game of (their) Lives’ – is rigged! What we are seeing is - a growing Awareness by people of their plight – and a growing Realisation of what the consequences shall be for their future. Often these two words - words/terms – ‘awareness’ and ‘realisation,’ are conflated - but they are distinct. Awareness is the state of knowing something - i.e. being aware of - or having knowledge of something’s existence. Realisation, according to Vocabulary.com – is “something that is made real or concrete” and “coming to understand something clearly and distinctly.” 'COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS' & DEEP PSYCHOLOGICAL PROCESSES It must first be remembered that we are dealing with a ‘deep psychological process,’ which can be observed and analysed - symptoms diagnosed and predictions of behavior made, at the individual level. Even the terms used to describe the individual experience can be identified. With ‘awareness’ such terms like ‘denial’ are relevant. With ‘realisation’- ‘trauma’ – come to mind - and can be observed. Given the essential ‘fractal’ nature of Human Consciousness – these observations can be logically extrapolated into the realm of ‘Collective Behaviour & Action.’ With sufficient data on the various ‘elements,’ which make up the ‘system.’ The predictability of such ‘collective behaviour’ can be fairly easily and accurately known. Such knowledge is not new and therefore the high probability of ‘conscious manipulation’ of this expressed ‘Collective Consciousness,’ is not only a probability, but almost certainly, an inevitability. When we apply the concept of ‘awareness’ to the global civil unrest, taking place – we ‘know’ that there are economic issues, issues of corruption within governments, inequality, poverty, issues with housing etc. The people ‘know’ this. The trigger that has moved many to the streets – is the ‘realisation’ of their plight – namely, the ‘reality has sunk in.’ This could be caused by a single act or event, with the resultant popular response often seeming disproportionate to the act/event in question. This is because, the issues that are being complained about - and now, fought against, have existed for some time – whether they are perceived as ‘injustice,’ ‘social,’ ‘political’ or ‘economic’ or even ‘non-economic’ or ‘non-political’ like ‘religion’ and ‘spirituality’ - all these matters come to the fore as ‘effects’ – some logically and rationally connected, others not. The resultant chaos is a dangerous state for ‘Power Elites’ – a ‘Collective Consciousness,’ in a state of ‘confusion’ and ‘anger!’ - Ethically expressed, it can be described as a time of ‘harvesting’ - a time of reaping what has been sown. ‘GLOBAL AWARENESS & REALISATION’ Applied to ‘global consciousness’ – we are moving into a phase/state of ‘realisation.’ What will be the consequences of this realisation? – Quite clearly - ‘old global world structures’ are being shaken – violently shaken from top to bottom – the instrument of this change – are the people. But why now? - has anything changed? - If so, what has changed? On the ‘material’ level – one could reel off a number of possible factors – causes - there is the obvious lack of social justice – fairness and obscene inequality and the destruction of civic society – which people experience and sense, even if they are unable to effectively articulate it. This feeling is felt globally, irrespective of colour, religion and increasingly ‘class,’ as the chasm between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots’ - becomes increasingly wider and unbridgeable. It is clear that there exists, increasingly only a ‘Super Class and ourselves,’ ‘Oligarchs and Serfs’ ‘Tyrants and Slaves.’ In each society/situation the ‘characteristics’ may vary - the causes may differ, the ‘protagonists’ and ‘antagonists’ dissimilar and even the solutions different from society to society. But these are simply an expected myriad and multifaceted expression – which one would expect from a near infinite ‘Collective Consciousness.’ THE END OF - ‘ISMS’ The ‘protagonists’ for change themselves differ, in particular about, a solution. Whilst the glaring injury is plain – lack of popular meaningful representation/expression – suggested solutions will inevitably be different and even be at odds. Some will promulgate/suggest so called ‘left’ solutions – others say the planet needs ‘right’ solutions – both may agree, that the solution is a ‘populist’ solution. By this, I understand that somehow, the masses of the population must be involved in the radical changes, which are required. This lack of agreement on solutions, may suggest an exhaustion of current ideological thinking, a bankruptcy of ideas. REVOLUTIONARY TIMES & THE 'SHIFT IN CONSCIOUSNESS' It seems to me that we are experiencing not just revolutionary times – in a material sense only, but the planet is witnessing a ‘shift’ which is far more profound and which the political scientists and political economists, do not even have the language to explain – yet alone suggest solutions. We are witnessing a ‘shift in Consciousness,’ which is and shall continue to be so dramatic that the material changes which ‘popular sentiment’ shall demand globally, will not be sufficient, because it will not be understood by a majority of the power elite and they shall therefore make mistakes. The majority of this power elite - schooled as they were in the Global Politics of ‘Empires & Civilizations’ (which remains their purpose) - a Spirituality of intercession and Machiavelian politics, the Mob Boss School - they will be unable to maintain (ride) the new power in ‘Consciousness.’ Further, their solutions to maintain power, will not be sufficient, because the huge hole in the heart of Humanity cannot be filled with material things/consumer goods etc… they proffer. The ‘huge hole,’ requires something, which a million shades of capitalism cannot fill – a hunger and a thirst, which current ‘isms’ – are unable to satisfy. In brief, this ‘shift in Consciousness’ is marking a change in the understanding of what it means to human - and is as much a ‘biological’ change, as it is a ‘mental’ one. There are things going on within the depths of Humanity, for which, the old and fading paradigm, does not even have a language for, yet alone attempt to describe or suggest a solution. Amongst the masses, at a level beyond the purely mental - a ‘realisation’ has set in that the ‘isms’ of the past that have dominated the globe in the 20th century – and have continued into the 21st century – are not adequate to define and satisfy the human experience. On the material plane, the failings of these ‘isms’ have been clear – global poverty – global war – global dissatisfaction. What is needed is a completely new structure. In the article titled - ‘(1) 'Spiritual Technology' (2) The Coming 'Spiritocracy' (3) 'Spirito-cratic' Communal Systems’ – it discusses the future of Humanity and Human Consciousness – in terms of what will be needed to move Humanity / Human Consciousness, into its next evolutionary step. In brief, it explores the role that ‘spirituality’ has played in human civilisation and how it has changed through the millennia. According to the article, it began with ‘spirituality’ representing ‘Spiritual Technology,’ containing knowledge, used to operate and/or manipulate the third dimensional world/plane – then evolved into ‘god systems’ – represented by ‘small g’ gods in the form of religion, which is used to distribute this knowledge to the people. What we see now in the world are ‘crossed wires’ when it comes to Spirituality and Religion – in many cases the original principles and practices linked to these systems have degenerated over time – and has been replaced with ignorance, misunderstanding and superstition – and in some cases nihilistic attitudes. These changes have made the Consciousness ‘vulnerable’ – and thus as the article points out - “humans today do not exist in 'sovereignty' - but exist in 'bondage.' Humans are not only slaves but are betrayed by their leaders/representatives at every turn.” Why is this? – Because many of the ‘leaders’ today understand that rulership over the people – cannot be separated from spirituality – since ultimately human beings consist of Consciousness and energy – and who so ever rules the people – must use this 'energy' to build, manipulate and manifest anything in the material world. So – what does this article suggest will be the source of liberation for Humanity and Human Consciousness? - It states - “Human Consciousness - is a self regulating system - whilst Human Consciousness may allow itself to be 'fooled' its eventual path cannot be denied.” This article also suggests, that in order to evolve to the ‘next step’ - humans must become ‘sovereign’ – must evolve all aspects of their being – their Consciousness – and to do this – one cannot omit the spiritual – since, human beings are ‘spiritual beings,’ in terms of their organic content. But does any of this have any real bearing on current events? – I think so – I have observed amongst some at the very tip of the global elite – those who really have their fingers on the pulse, who understand the rise and fall of empires – and the role of spirituality and religion in human society and civilisation – and politics – they have a clearer understanding as to what is really going on. Amongst them, you might find yourself observing, what could be regarded as ‘strange behavior,’ but in reality it is not – it is in fact a preparing for - ‘Transition.’ THE POPE & THE GODDESS, PACHAMAMA Let me give you an example – The Roman Catholic Church has survived as an institution for almost two millennia and some would say even longer, undoubtedly this has been because of its ability to ‘transition,’ human consciousness - both in ‘temporal’ as well as in ‘cultural terms.’ This ability to ‘transition,’ is in its DNA so to speak and therefore at certain points in its history, its congregation and members will often be baffled by the organisations apparently ‘strange behaviour’ – these are however, ‘strategic moves.’ To students of Geo-Politics and power however, its history and its ability to ‘transition,’ can be studied in that light alone. I read an interesting article titled – ‘Top Cardinal Breaks With Pope Over 'Pagan Goddess' at Vatican,’ it details a dispute between Pope Francis and Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Mueller. The basis of this disagreement stems from Pope Francis’ support of the Pan-Amazonian Pachamama (Mother Earth) Goddess – whose statue, Pope Francis displayed on the Vatican church altar. This action by Pope Francis, created a split within the Vatican - some even went as far as breaking into the Vatican in the night – stealing the statue of Pachamama - and dumping the statue in a river – it was later retrieved by police. Following these events, the Pope also made a formal apology - stating - “I ask forgiveness to anyone who was offended.” BOLIVIA Later on that week, I read an article about the departure of Bolvian former president Evo Morales, the first indigenous leader of that country. Morales recently left Bolivia – and went to Mexico, after being forced to resign, following orders from the military and increased right wing violence. A politician, lawyer and Christian fundamentalist called Jeanine Añez has since, declared herself interim president – and now the people are back on the streets – protesting for Morales’ return. In 2013 - Añez tweeted - “I dream of a Bolivia free of satanic indigenous rites... …the city is not for the Indians who should stay in the highlands or the Chaco!!!” – Many people regarded this remark as inflammatory, given the fact that 60% of Bolivian’s are indigenous. One fascinating incident, was the public reference to the Bible by the new leadership of Bolivia. In the article 'What the coup against Evo Morales means to indigenous people like me' - it is reported that after the resignation of Evo Morales, Luis Fernando Camacho, who is a member of the Christian far-right group and who appears to be supporting Añez – "stormed the presidential palace, a flag in one hand and a bible in the other. “The bible is returning to the government palace,”” he is also quoted as saying “Pachamama will never return. Today Christ is returning to the Government Palace. Bolivia is for Christ.”” (Read more here.) In the video - 'Chris Hedges: Why school shootings are no longer news (Full show)' you can see Camacho and his group ransacking the former home of Evo Morales (you will see this at around the 24 minute mark in the video.) Since Morales’ departure - the houses of MAS (Bolivan, Movement for Socialism group) supporters - and the flags of the indigenous people have been burnt – it is also reported that the indigenous people were put in trucks and have been taken to – who knows where. Read more here. All this, in the name of ‘Christ?’ As things stand at present, there are rival protests between 'pro Morales supporters' and 'Morales opposition groups' - and there appears to be no resolution to this division at present. The country therefore seems headed for further civil unrest, which include not just political, economic and social matters but it would also seem, deep spiritual and cultural divides. The indigenous people have a culture, which had existed long before the arrival of the later colonists and at the heart of this culture is a reverence for the Mother Goddess (read related article here.) It is clear that the country is deeply divided – deeper than perhaps than most of us, who do not live in the country, realise. The Pope seems to have no problem with the Pachamama Goddess – and yet, the new ‘leaders’ of Bolivia – namely, Añez and Camacho do and have clearly made this element of religion / spirituality, part of the already toxic mix of the political process. Leaders who do this should beware, since the ‘shift in Consciousness,’ which is occurring and which we see being manifest as protests in the streets are at their root, not just protests for material progress and ‘games,’ but they are also, a cry from the heart's of the people. In addition to social justice, an end to inequality and fairness – this ‘cry from the heart’ – is a ‘cry’ for spiritual meaning - and an end to ‘spiritual/religious hypocrisy.’ Leaders who play with these aspects of ‘Consciousness’ in current times - unlike in previous times, will not be able ‘to marshal and channel’ these powerful forces - but they shall be consumed by them - since we are in a different phase of the cycle of human consciousness. This in my opinion, is the meaning and understanding of the quite astute behaviour of Pope Francis. CONCLUSION As political leaders attempt to pacify and make their peace with the people, so called 'spiritual leaders,' will also be brought to account. The organised religions themselves in one way or another, will have to meet this 'shift in Consciousness,' which is occurring. Is God an Old White man with a beard – or is She a Dark Skinned Woman? Or – is God/Source simply - ‘Unnameable’ and ‘Ineffable’ – Being the ‘Source’ of all things? iGURU!’s – Weekly Review – 10th November 2019 "Consciousness can be fooled, but not mocked!" - Science Of The Immortals (SOTI) CONSCIOUSNESS HAS STIRRED ‘Consciousness’ has stirred and its ripple like effects are been felt around the globe. This force - this power - moving obliquely and at first almost unfelt, now begins to flex - ominously. A growing ‘global civil unrest’ and revolt continues – from east to west – north to south of the globe. The dissatisfaction of the people spreads like wild fire – volatile - contagious. In the majority of cases it is the people vs. the state – fed up in one way or another, of governing bodies, enacting policies, which do little or nothing for the wellbeing and welfare of the ordinary working people. People are increasingly realising through what they see, hear and experience, that honesty – honest work, is not being rewarded in those societies. All over the world there are protests - in which, people are demanding significant and meaningful change, to a system which has delivered it seems, at least to the majority, nothing but unwarranted, pain and suffering, obscene inequality, injustice and unfairness. You can give it's root cause and consequences, whatever name or explanation you want, call it – ‘austerity,’ ‘neoliberalism,’ ‘globalisation,’ ‘technocratic reform’ - whatever! - These are simply apologetic ruses, insulting epithets used by elites, whose policies mask a largely concealed purpose, by these supposedly ruling elites, which don’t make any logical sense. These policies are in essence, what can be termed, the current modern technocratic capitalist paradigm, a system marked by lies, greed, theft, impoverishment, suffering and death. If the ‘Banks are broke’ and don’t have money who does? If our communities remain impoverished and poor, lacking in infrastructure and our ecological environment is dying - why? In a world of obvious technological progress – where are the sustained benefits of this ‘progress?’ – Despite, statistics, numbers and figures, which say that more of us are becoming more prosperous, why does life feel ‘harder,’ ‘nastier,’ ‘meaner’ – when measured by virtually all meaningful indicators of happiness? Across the globe the results of these policies can be seen, whether it be the indigenous peoples, say in the Amazon, fighting to protect their way of life, or the trafficked and often ‘enslaved,' ‘human victims' - victims of the booming trade in ‘human resources,’ be it ‘living beings’/souls (for details - click here) or the trade in ‘human organs & parts.' The evidence can be seen in, the sprawling ‘urban buildings and dens’ – termed cities, of the supposedly ‘developed world’ – whose social environment is increasingly dominated by ‘urban gangs,’ communities awash with drugs - deemed ‘leisure,’ whose air is weighted down with poisonous, noxious and deadly gases (for details - click here). The inhabitants of these places, are marked on their faces and minds – which reveal - individual minds burdened and dominated by the all pervading and depressing, emotional cloud, which hovers over the inhabitants of these cities. Now – what do I see? - I see a ‘Choir’ led by smiling ‘Cheerleaders,’ with false gleaming white teeth - proclaiming all is well – the ‘Commonwealth’ – is at ‘Peace’ – since we have ‘Liberty!’ ‘Freedom!’ ‘Democracy!’ - to that I say Lies! - "Consciousness can be fooled, but is not mocked!" (SOTI) To be sure – something stinks! - It is the rottenness and corruption of a ‘stinking corpse.’ – No, I am wrong. The body politic of that, which was once termed ‘civic society,’ is not yet dead - but none the less it is stinking! – Or again - maybe it is dead? - Since it clearly has that stench. It can be likened to a rotten fish – whose rottenness and corruption commenced in its head and has now inevitably spread to its body. Further, it not only has a stench, but the corpse cannot and should not be consumed. Yet, it is this poisonous fare which it seems, we as ordinary people, are being asked to consume and people are saying in greater numbers - No! - we have had enough! This mismanagement of the people’s energy, their ‘Consciousness,’ by these state systems – has been eroding societal and community infrastructure for some time now – and the dramatic surge of global unrest we are witnessing, speaks of ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back.’ The trigger of each protest is but a final straw, which has been added to a humongous pile of straws, that have been accumulating more recently over the last couple of decades - and the people have had enough - they are fed up. What we are witnessing is an ‘Old World’ in its 'death throes’ - the death of an old, out dated and tired system – a system that is unable to cater for the basic needs of the people in a society and as a consequence, we are seeing globally, civil unrest in the people - as they complain of the corruption in their governments – poverty, poor housing conditions, lack of opportunities etc... The list of failings, it seems is endless – and varies, depending on each country, but there is a common mood and feeling expressed - that is one of a loss of trust and faith, people once had in their governments and leadership. In the video – ‘Today's protests indicate the scale of troubles in our paradise - Slavoj Zizek’ - Slavoj Zizek says - “There is no way to integrate protesters into the given society – a more radical change will be needed – I don’t see any agent that can do it now.” How did we get here? – - We have failed to protect the rights, which our forefathers and mothers fought for. - We allowed broken promises from the leadership, to go unchecked - leaving them unaccountable. - Expectations of what a leader should be, have diminished. - Irresponsibility both from the leaders and the people. - Economic imbalance and inequality. There is only so much and for so long, that people will put up with a corrupt, unjust and immoral system. A GLOBAL REVIEW We are beginning to see the results of all this - in what is currently happening globally, the people, both young and old, are becoming increasingly aware/educated to what is going on and are demanding an end to it. This urge is manifesting in different ways, but it is there nonetheless. In the article – ‘This wave of global protest is being led by the children of the financial crash’ - Jake Woodier is quoted as saying - “They know that they will be worse off than their parents, know that they’ll never own a home, and know that on current trends they could live to see the end of humanity. So for them, for us, politics is not a game, it’s reality, and that’s reflected in the way we organise – relentlessly, radically, as if our lives depend on it.” It is clear that the people feel they have no choice but to take to the streets – in an act of desperation – they protest. The protests comprise a generation, who are feeling the failings of an inadequate system – in many cases, there is a sense that this is a ‘parentless generation’ – where the children have been left to fend for themselves – where are the ‘role models?’ - the ‘leaders?’ - In an interview discussing the collapse of Europe – and diagnosing it's cause, Douglas Murray summed it up succinctly and pitherly, with the comment - “all the adults left the room.” Somewhere, someone has dropped the ball – the rights that have previously been fought for - have not been held onto. Small sins against the people have gone unchecked and now the breaches, the crimes - are too big to sweep under the carpet - and the hardship being experienced day to day, by the people, has become too great to ignore. Globally, discontentment stirs the people – moving them onto the streets. At first, peaceful protests, which are now evolving into violent and dangerous battles between the people and the authorities. The protests are becoming more chaotic – since it cries for individuals to come forward and order/structure the complaints of the people - and channel it into something constructive. – It yearns for good leadership – a leadership that is able to move beyond the ‘tweets,’ ‘blogs,’ ‘instagram’ and ‘facebook’ profiles of social media – into ‘Concrete Reality Communities.’ In the video - “From Lebanon to Chile, economic uncertainty is driving a wave of protests” - the crowds that gather in the streets of Chile, are referred to as a “leaderless, spontaneous movement calling for fundamental reforms.” In many cases, the people’s distrust in the state means that it is very unlikely satisfactory solutions can or will come from the state. Below is a Global Review of some of these protests – I have detailed this Global Review by region/Country arranged alphabetically. EUROPE ‘STIRS’ In France, the protests were initially caused by the rise in fuel prices (fuel tax) - (for more details - click here) against an economic background of job losses and insecurity, by ‘out of touch metropolitan elites,’ led by Macron, whose polices serve to benefit only the privileged and wealthy - this triggered the ‘Yellow Vest protests (read more here.) In Greece, students and unions, protest to oppose the new business reforms – as they feel it will affect workers’ rights (read more here.) In Spain, it was the imprisonment of separatists leaders, which triggered protests. Spain is now in the midst of their fourth election – who knows what will happen next (more info - click here) In the UK, whose political processes remain largely frozen and unmanageable as a result of its continuing Brexit woes, the capital London, recently experienced, Extinction Rebellion protests and demonstrations, which are now the subject of court challenges, as protesters allege ‘unlawful’ conduct and an ‘abuse of power by police’ (read more here.) There is also the ongoing traversty of justice, which the United Kingdom is currently hosting, through its immoral, unlawful and possibly deadly continuing detention of the Journalist, Julian Assange. In a previous article, I have dealt with the inequitious and unjust legal procedures and practices, which currently deny access to Justice to a large proportion of the British public (for article - click here.) HONG KONG – ‘NO FUTURE’ In Hong Kong – a large proportion of the protesters are young adults – they see no future for their lives as adults if the system remains as it is. What are some of the problems in Hong Kong? - Poor housing conditions - unaffordable housing (young people cannot afford to rent, let alone buy a property of their own,) 1 in 5 people in Hong Kong live in poverty (watch video - click here), long working hours – and in general, a poor quality of life. Protests in Hong Kong have been going on for 20+ weeks now – and are becoming increasingly violent – these protests, whatever view one takes about them, are not taken lightly by the protesters themselves. In the video – ‘Hear Hong Kong Protesters Read Their Final Goodbyes | The Dispatch’ - it shows various young adults, reading their ‘goodbye letters’ addressed to members of their family, friends and loved ones. They write these letters before going to protest on the streets of Hong Kong – these protests have now become violent ‘street battles’ with the governing bodies. The police have been firing live rounds on the protesters – thus many protesters have been killed during the protests. A young man in the video, in a letter to his parents, writes the following – “I’ve always tried my best to become a so-called worthy person in your eyes, at school and at work. But more than that I want to be a person with a conscience, not a selfish coward.” These individuals know that when they leave their homes to join the protests on the streets of Hong Kong – they may not return – whether it be through arrest or death – they set out on the streets prepared for this. Another protester said – “I don’t take to the streets to clash with the police nor to destroy. I’m here to protest to what is wrong with the government." Also recently in Hong Kong, pro Beijing politician and lawmaker, Mr. Junius Ho was stabbed in the chest by an attacker who pretended to be a fan (to watch video - click here). Mr. Ho, has previously been accused, by pro-democratic protesters of helping to organise attacks on civilians (read more - click here.) THE AMERICAS In Bolivia, following the news that two anti government protesters had been killed – protesters marched to the town hall – and grabbed the mayor – they then covered her in red paint, cut off her hair and paraded her through the streets barefooted (read more - click here.) In Brazil protesters oppose President Bolsonaro’s government – Bolsonaro, has been recently linked to the assassination of a human rights activist and politician Marielle Franco (more details here.) In Chile, the people protest against - unaffordable healthcare, low pensions, poverty (Chile has one of the world’s largest wealth gaps.) In Chile, following days of massive popular protests, police and armed troops responded with tear gas and deadly fire. There are also allegations of torture and serious human rights abuses by troops. In the video ‘From Lebanon to Chile, economic uncertainty is driving a wave of protests’ - it was reported that “At least 17 protesters have been killed, and hundreds of police injured, in running battles that paralysed the capital Santiago.” People’s frustration it seems has no adequate mechanism of expression - a protester in Chile said “I am not a fan of violence, but violence is the only way they will listen.” (Watch the video - here.) Another protester said - “The social discontent is not just about the fare rides the subway. The only thing the government does is criminalise a situation, that in truth, they have dragged on for so long. Now the military are using the same strategy they used during dictatorship, making fun of people, and shooting people in many regions.” (Watch video - here) There is an explosion of emotion – protests often begin peacefully, but due to the expectations of the people not being met, the dissatisfaction evolves into violent clashes between the governed and the government. We are seeing this all over the world. HAITI – ‘LIFE OR DEATH’ For many around the world these protests are a matter of life or death – people protest because they must! – to survive. For example – in Haiti – many struggle to buy and find – basic necessities such as water. In the video - 'Why people are protesting in Haiti' - it refers to the public services in Haiti as crippled. The people complain of corruption, rising inflation, lack of basic goods, food and fuel shortages - basic needs are not being met. They want the current leader to step down (read more - here.) THE MIDDLE EAST Robert Fisk, writes in an article titled - 'The New Revolutionaries of the Middle East Share the Same Flaw,' about the protests in the Middle East - “In Iraq and Lebanon and Algeria. In Baghdad and Kerbala, in Beirut and in the city of Algiers – and, once again, in miniature and briefly, in Cairo. The young and the educated demanded an end not just to corruption but to sectarianism, to confessionalism, to religious-based mafia governments of immense wealth, arrogance and power." These are not just localised complaints, but familiar complaints - global ones – familiar global complaints and protests - we are indeed living in perilous times. THE ‘CONSCIOUS AWAKENING’ From the governments, the responses have been in the main – amateurish, unfeeling, insensitive, ill-informed - and often unlawful state reaction, abounds. With this continuing civil unrest – emotions are running high – the energy/Consciousness is building – but where will it go? – How will it be used? A number of articles refer to the need for this energy/Consciousness to be directed into something tangible. Slavoj Zizek says - "The protests must translate into ‘radical change’ lest the efforts will be meaningless" (watch video - here.) So – the streets are speaking! – will the voices of the people remain simply as reverberations echoing into the night? - Or will it meet with the ears of people who can translate the protests into long lasting change – a Movement – where we see the people protests translated into ‘meaningful power and change?’ One thing is for sure – if left to continue – the protests will get more violent – more chaotic - and bloodier. Strategically, this actually benefits illegitimate elites – elites, who have over the last few decades or so, carefully crafted the modern Orwellian Surveillance societies, most of us now inhabit. Unfortunately for us, they see an increase in tension, chaos and violence as their last and only means to gain ‘legitimacy,’ through the use of the monopoly force the State, which they still currently maintain and command. It is their intention to use State Police or Military ‘crackdowns’ to hold onto power. Therefore, those potential leaders of both ‘Left’ and ‘Right,’ Black, Yellow or White, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Gay or Straight - or whatever other ‘Identity,’ has been foisted upon you - you must be aware of that situation - and not allow any justifiable differences between us, to be exploited and manipulated to the detriment of the community as a whole. We must therefore, find a peaceful ‘Meeting Place’ (for related article - click here.) There are troubled waters to cross, issues which have to be navigated - as we have been bequeathed the following - - Lack Of Leadership – No one to enforce the rights of the people – to lead the movement so that the protests are translated into ‘power for the people.’ - The people – divided. - Rising expectations – that remain unfulfilled. - Lack of opportunities for young people. These times therefore, require a collective leadership of quite unparalleled Wisdom, in an Age largely shorn of such wise practices. Such leaders, must be an example to others, whom they claim to lead – Why? - Simply because, in truth – if they are ‘true leaders,’ they do not lead - but ‘Serve.’ Further, if they truly believe and understand, the ‘Cosmic scheme of things’ – they will know - that which the Lord Yeshua (Jesus Christ,) knew and Caesar didn’t - they will know that, Alexander The Great was a ‘Bellboy’ to Diogenes - and in part, they will know this - That – ‘We The People,’ each one of us - individually - despite seeming and apparent weakness – that it is us - who wield true power - and it is us - each one of us - individually - who are ultimately and truly, the ‘Sovereign.’ REFERENCES TO ARTICLES, VIDEOS ETC To view the contents of this index – click on the subject of interest below. We live in a sea of information. A few clicks on the internet – will give you information about anything you desire. Today, we have access to massive, some would even say ‘oppressive,’ amounts of information, via the internet 24 hours a day – 24/7 global news coverage – there is also the advent of sophisticated technology, such as AI & Robotics, powerful Computers and even Quantum Computing (to read more click here.) All this mass of information, is both constantly and easily available through the ubiquitous everyday technology of smartphones, tablets, laptops etc…. and other gadgets. In accessing information today, it seems that we are spoilt for choice. INFORMATION ‘WAVES’ & ‘FLOODS’ Waves of information are constantly crashing in from all directions and we are constantly being bombarded with information as various entities fight for our precious attention – whether it be to sell us products – or influence us socially and politically through its dissemination. Currently, it seems, there exists an apparent paradox. Information, whilst generally accepted as being valuable and useful, is also abundant, there is no shortage of information – we actually are flooded with the stuff. Yes – all this we have access to and the impact of these developments on all the various facets of our environment - our societies, lifestyles and culture, both individually and collectively, has been dramatic. ‘TECHNOLOGICAL FIX’ As with all technology, ‘Information Technology’ (which is information organised electronically via a technological device i.e. a computer) is of itself, neutral – it is the ‘intent,’ of the user, which will ultimately determine its worth and usefulness – its value. In this sea of information are we sinking or swimming? - and if we are swimming – where are we swimming to? - Through all this ‘information excess/overload’ - what ‘meaningful knowledge’ are we able to extract from it? - And how are we are as ‘biological,’ ‘organic’ – ‘entities’/systems - Human Beings – able to do this and hopefully in the future, continue doing this? These technological advancements in the field of information over the past 3 decades – has meant that our relationship and interaction with information has changed significantly – this is because the environment through which we acquire knowledge and information has changed. Prior to these technological developments – the way in which we acquired information was confined to what we could find in our physical environment (i.e. what we were taught from our parents, teachers at school, libraries, books, etc…) Now – the terrain is predominantly in cyberspace – a non-physical realm containing an near infinite repository of information – accessed via various interfaces (computers, phones, tablets, etc…) – all from the comfort of our homes, or anywhere else we may be. This has meant that ‘new skills’ have had to be learnt, if you want to benefit from what life has to offer. Many have had to get with the program quick i.e. learn how to get around this fast-paced – and quickly developing technological world. I remember meeting a woman who told me she was a fully qualified nurse – but had been only able to get temporary agency work because the application for a permanent job had to be completed online via the internet - and she hadn't a clue how and where to start. All this information at our fingertips – yet, what does it mean to be intelligent at this moment in time? In an attempt to answer that question – one will have to consider – how is intelligence defined in modern society? - what does it mean to be intelligent now? ANCIENT ‘CYBERNETIC’ SOLUTIONS TO MODERN PROBLEMS ‘Cybernetics,’ can be defined as the scientific study of complex regulatory systems, these ‘regulatory systems’ include ‘cognitive systems’ and would therefore incorporate ‘systems of learning’ and ‘Learning systems’ are amongst other things, concerned with the processing and communication of information. So important is this process - that one could define the whole ‘corpus’ of human knowledge & intellectual achievement, in terms of being the search for a ‘universal dream,’ - namely the ‘Ultimate' or 'Universal Learning System’ (ULS.) Thus both ‘Religion’ and ‘Science’ are in pursuit of that quest - ULS. The former, Religion, pursues this through the ‘ascension’ into the ‘Realm of Spirit’ – through consideration of the careful and ‘Divinely revealed,’ cosmic ‘hierarchical structure’ – leading to God. The latter, Science, as it is expressed in Western culture, which currently dominates the scientific paradigm, seeks to achieve this (ULS) through a ‘descent’ into the ‘Depths of Matter’ – seeking the ultimate – ‘Particle’ or ‘Substance.’ (For iGURU!'s - About CERN Index - click here.) In both cases the ‘Ultimate/Universal Learning System’ (ULS), can be determined, by building upon either ‘God’ (Religion) or ultimate ‘Substance’ (Science) as the basis for all ‘Knowledge,’ (i.e. useable/useful facts/information). Not unrelated, are areas of modern enquiry and research, into ‘A Theory Of Everything,’ ‘Singularity,’ and a ‘practical’ and ‘technological’ expression of this ‘universal dream’- is ‘The Internet Of Things.’ Whilst in Eastern cultures, which were transcendental in nature, this ‘ultimate quest’ was in some traditions regarded as ‘unknowable’ – Daoism. In the West as a consequence of the ‘revealed,’ nature of ‘Monotheistic Deity’ - namely Christianity, it was deemed 'knowable' through the mediation of a ‘proclaimed, true and Universal Church’ – and therefore all ‘information,’ was therefore interpreted through this ‘proclaimed, true and Universal Church’ – The Roman Catholic Church. Indeed the birth of the modern Western scientific tradition and method can be seen as a struggle against this domination – the often cited of the persecution of Galileo comes to mind (to read more - click here.) These issues are not merely academic, since the fundamental issues raised by them – namely the search for ULS, has not gone away. Esoteric Societies both ‘secret’ and ‘open,’ continue to battle in this quest. – Globally, politicians, whether knowingly or not, are ‘players’ or ‘pawns’ in this game and ‘Scientists’ are the new ‘High Priests.’ ….And the ‘game’ continues. Is this good or is it bad? – is not a relevant question. Does it continue? Yes – since as long as we as Humans have to ‘give meaning’ to ‘Existence’ (all that exists), then the ‘Holy Grail’ of a ULS, will be pursued. What of Artificial Intelligence (AI) some will say, surely a powerful system can be created, which will ‘encompass’ such a ULS and therefore not require us (as humans) to do anything, since it will be able to ‘calculate’ the ‘perfect solution’ to everything. This is not so, since however much they may appear to be similar – the ‘organic’ (Human) and ‘synthetic’ (AI) are ultimately ‘distinct’ and ‘separate’ intelligences. They can be ‘fused,’ such as the Trans Human movement seeks to do, but they are two separate ‘systems’ – separate strands of DNA if you like - to produce a new and uncertain (that which is not known) - ‘hybrid entity.’ Those experiments aside, the pursuit of a ULS inevitably continues and are simply part of a long and historic, cultural pursuit and tradition. THE TRIVIUM & QUADRIVIUM METHOD I came across an interesting video called 'The Trivium Method - Gene Odening (entire) - what you should have been taught in school but weren't' - by Gene Odening. In this video he explains and extols the virtue of the ancient ‘Trivium’ method, for the processing of any information. It is an ancient and timeless method, which found an expression in the relatively modern concept of the ‘7 Liberal Arts.’ Gene Odening - bemoans its loss, since he views this method as being so fundamental, that its system could be regarded as an analogue of the human mind itself - its workings and processes. At the heart of the ‘Trivium’ method are the disciplines of ‘Grammar,’ ‘Logic’ and ‘Rhetoric.’ Through ‘Grammar’/Language - we are able to define – ‘separate out’ - any object for study and the rules Grammar ensure clarity – thus creating a definable ‘Subject.’ Through ‘Logic,’ we are able to reach an ‘understanding’ of the ‘subject,’ through the proper exclusion of all that is not of that subject or otherwise necessary – through the use of exposing ‘logical contradictions.’ Through the use of ‘Rhetoric,’ we are now able to ‘explain’ and even ‘convince’ others of the value/worth of what we have encountered/discovered of the subject. This is the ‘Beauty’ of the subject - it's ‘Wisdom.’ It is a very powerful mechanism for practical use in the human reasoning process and the ‘Trivium Method, clearly represented an ancient ULS. In fact so powerful is it as a method that some have regarded the ‘Trivum Method,’ as a tool used by ruling elites, for the careful 'stratification,' ‘calibration’ and thus ‘manipulation’/control of human societies – for example see Video – 'History... Interview: The Trivium Method vs. The Classical Trivium: A Briefing by Kevin Cole.' THE NATURE OF INTELLIGENCE & THE CHALLENGE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE There are many definitions of intelligence – Collins Dictionary says, “Intelligence is the ability to think, reason, and understand instead of doing things automatically or by instinct.” Britannica Encyclopedia defines ‘Human Intelligence’ as a - "mental quality that consists of the abilities to learn from experience, adapt to new situations, understand and handle abstract concepts, and use knowledge to manipulate one’s environment.” We now have Artificial Intelligence (AI) – which is an imitation of Human Intelligence – reenacted via machines (computers etc) – however unlike humans – AI can both store and access an infinite amount of information within its system – and apply it to a situation within seconds. There is an ongoing debate that AI will become far ‘smarter’ than humans – and will thus enslave us. That particular subject requires separate consideration and so I do not consider it here. For purposes of this review, I believe it is important to know first, what it means to be 'smart' – what it really means to be intelligent. Evidence of Intelligence comes in many forms – the capacity to memorise and recall data, has traditionally been regarded as such evidence, hence most educational systems, still place an emphasis on rote learning and the recalling of facts. This ability is then tested by ‘examination.’ Individuals are often regarded as ‘clever’ based upon their ability to remember information – dates, times – specific details of historic events – but for a long time now, AI robots and other technological devices can perform that function much better than any human can. As the performance of that particular skill necessarily diminishes in importance, our view of intelligence is inevitably changing. With the surge of mass information and ‘Big Data’ - increasingly the ability to ‘extract’ relevant information ‘meaningfully,’ is becoming the test of intelligence. For us as humans, it means the way information is ‘extracted,’ ‘used’ and ‘applied’ within our environment. Intelligence is not ‘static’ – it is ‘dynamic’ – it is a ‘skill’ – which can be applied to any environment or circumstance, which an individual finds him or herself in – in order to derive benefit. For example – an intelligent caveman or woman in the stone age would not be regarded as intelligent in say the 21st Century, on the streets of New York – s/he would be out of place in that environment – and vice versa. Ultimately, one can say that it boils down to survival, at least initially at any rate – did that person have the knowledge necessary to survive in their environment? – did that person have the skills required to apply what s/he knows, in order to extract what is necessary, at any given moment in time, from their environment? Hence the concept of intelligence can be regarded as relative depending on the environment, circumstance, culture, technology etc. In the article – 'Western Insanity and 5G Electromagnetic Radiation' the writer distinguishes between Western and Eastern ideas concerning the way each group sees the world. One distinction it makes is that “Westerners tend to focus on discrete objects (a left-brain emphasis) and Easterners tend to focus on relationships (a right-brain emphasis).” A further distinction, was made between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine – the former adopts a holistic approach – considering all aspects that contribute to the individual’s health – the latter focuses on individual aspects of the body – and thus treats illness in parts, according to the problems/ symptoms. The article continues in this way, making comparisons about these two very different traditions. This is an example, of how systems of knowledge and information – can vary depending on the culture or environment. During the last week or so, I have also come across a few videos discussing the concept of ‘emotional intelligence’ – which is basically the ability to develop an awareness about one's emotions – to essentially ‘master your emotions’ – rather than being subject to them. In Eastern Philosophical or Western Scientific/Psychological terms this would be termed as ‘Self Awareness.’ Thus we can see that this idea of ‘Self Mastery’ – is a relevant consideration when defining the concept of intelligence. But what is the essence of intelligence? THE COSMOS – ‘BEAUTIFUL ORDER’ If we accept that everything started from a ‘primordial chaos’ – an 'undifferentiated' source – then the ‘Constant of Creation,’ is the ‘ordering of things’ – thus the ‘ordering of things’ is the essence of intelligence. So - we can now define intelligence as having 2 aspects - an ‘objective aspect’ and a ‘subjective aspect.’ The ‘objective aspect’ is the ‘ordering principle’ – which is the way information is ‘ordered’ and ‘structured’ - this aspect remains unchanged throughout all eternity – it is a necessity in any society – information becomes useful - when it is ordered. Secondly, the ‘subjective aspect’ is the ‘variable’ – dependent upon the environment – i.e. the social environment – culture – technology and individual perception. POTENTIALITY, CREATIVITY & GENIUS Many bright minds in our history have graced the earth with their ideas, philosophies and inventions – which have formed the basis of human civilisation. These are packaged, structured and ordered bits of information, which have ultimately been extracted from the ‘realm of ideas and inspiration’ – an undifferentiated realm – some call this infinite intelligent source - the Cosmos. Albert Einstein said – “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” From this quote it seems that another facet of acquiring knowledge/information is the ability to tap into ‘abstract realms’ of Consciousness – therefore, ‘imagination’ can thus be seen to represent a key into these realms. The relevance, assembling and ultimately, meaning of information depends on the needs of the time. Many ‘great thinkers’ and/or ‘geniuses’ – have made significant contributions, as a result of being able to organise information into something useful and comprehensive - whether it be a concept, a philosophy to live by or an invention. I watched an interesting video titled - 'Can Everyone Become Talented? - Story of the Polgar Sisters (animated)' – the video describes the story / experiment of Laszlo Polgar – who believed that dedicated practice in any chosen field, could transform any healthy child into a genius. Having conducted these experiments, he found this to be the case. This leads us to consider the concept of ‘potentiality.’ Through the study of ‘Epigenetics’ we now know that genes are not fixed – and they do not determine who you will be or what you can become. Therefore, there is 'potentiality' in all of us to be ‘geniuses’ – a large proportion of it, admittedly untapped – but none the less it is there. Intelligence, is not fixed – it is dynamic and fluid – as we have seen through various examples throughout this article - it requires ‘nurturing’ – inputting of ‘relevant information’ – thus, enabling an individual to sucessfully ‘navigate’ through life. CONCLUSION - WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE INTELLIGENT NOW? Given the pace of the modern world - technological – quickly and constantly changing - it is essential that one be able to successfully ‘navigate’ through the ‘sea of information,’ which surrounds us. “Your ‘ability’ to ‘find,’ ’structure’ and ‘order’ information is the ‘New Intelligence’ – from this ability you can guide and predict Existence!” - Science Of The Immortals (SOTI) REFERENCES TO ARTICLES, VIDEOS ETC To view the contents of this index – click on the subject of interest below.
